Meet Filament2
Filament2, together with Prusa Research, is redefining what 3D printing can do.
Liquid Filaments let any standard FDM printer print silicone and other advanced materials with the same simplicity and precision as plastic.
How it works
Liquid Filament is a flexible tube filled with silicone or another paste material. The printer feeds it just like regular filament - no syringe or pressure system required. When printed, the outer tube peels away, leaving only the pure silicone part.

Why it matters
This patented approach opens 3D printing to materials that were never possible before, like silicone, epoxy, and others. It’s fast, clean, and works with existing printers and slicers.

Collaboration with Prusa Research
Filament2 developed Liquid Filaments to make silicone 3D printing accessible to everyone. In collaboration with Prusa Research, our technology is implemented on the Prusa XL, bringing precise and reliable silicone printing to the global 3D printing community.
